Each year, the UCCS Karen Possehl Wayfinder Endowment (KPWE) Scholarship program hosts a celebration and fundraiser - the Unstoppable Event, to celebrate the resilient, hardworking, determined KPWE scholars who have completed the journey of earning their college degree. In addition to the unstoppable scholars, one Unstoppable Leader from the community is recognized whose involvement within the greater Colorado Springs area has left a lasting impression.

This year, on Tuesday, May 19th, the KPWE program will honor the lovely CJ Moore alongside 13 graduating scholars, for their courageous work breaking through barriers and making a place for themselves at the table. 

Not only is this event a time to celebrate and honor these wonderful individuals, but it is also a time to support generations of students and their families through the Wayfinder Scholarship. This remarkable scholarship supports 32-35 scholars every year with a $6,000 financial award in addition to childcare stipends, professional development workshops, and a community of strong mentors routing for each scholar.
