Join the CU Food Fight and help UCCS battle hunger on campus!
At UCCS, we believe students should be able to focus on learning and pursuing their goals, not worrying about where their next meal will come from.
That’s why the annual CU Food Fight matters. From November 10 through December 1, UCCS and CU Denver will compete in a friendly fundraising challenge to support students experiencing food insecurity. Every gift made to UCCS benefits Clyde’s Cupboard, our on-campus food pantry and resource center.
For many students, Clyde’s Cupboard provides more than food. It offers relief during difficult times, support during unexpected hardships and reassurance that the UCCS community is here to help. College students today face rising grocery costs, housing expenses and financial pressures that can make it difficult to make ends meet. When students have reliable access to nutritious food, they are better equipped to stay focused in class and continue working toward graduation.
Your support enables Clyde’s Cupboard to provide:
• Nutritious groceries and pantry staples
• Essential personal care items
• Additional food during times of increased need
• A welcoming resource for students seeking additional support
Every gift, no matter the size, helps strengthen the safety net available to students across campus.
And of course, there’s a little friendly competition involved. Your gift not only supports UCCS students, but also helps us compete for the annual Food Fight trophy.
Together, we can help ensure that students have the nourishment they need to thrive.
Make your gift today and join the Food Fight.
