Join M.O.S.A.I.C. and the LGBTQ+ Resource Center for our Lotería Fundraiser!

This campaign will help us raise funds to support the MOSAIC Retreat and LGBTQ+ Retreat hosted for students in the fall semester. Established in 2023, the M.O.S.A.I.C. Retreats are designed to contribute directly to persistence, retention, and completion rates for minoritized groups, such as students of color and LGBTQ+ student populations, at UCCS. These retreats help students get connected to the community, empowered in their identity as leaders, and prepared to have a successful, fulfilling UCCS experience.

Our goal for this campaign is to raise $3,000 to cover the costs of 24 students' registration for a MOSAIC Retreat, so that access remains free for all students wanting to attend. We typically have 50 students per retreat, so this would provide funding for almost half of the students in attendance! Through these retreats we aim to strengthen community, affirm identity, and cultivate dynamic leaders to improve recruitment, retention, and completion of students from minoritized populations. 

Along with this online campaign, we will also be having a Summer Social Lotería event on August 8^th. Funds raised will help the M.O.S.A.I.C. Team keep the retreats free for students and help provide tools for success such as academic planners, grocery gift cards, and even hygiene kits.
