Disability Services is a Student Affairs department that offers crucial support for students with disabilities, medical conditions, and pregnancy-related conditions.
Fundraising for Disability Services is essential to help UCCS meet the unique access needs of our disabled student. Qualified students can request academic accommodations, such as adjustments, auxiliary aids, or other services to ensure equal access to the educational opportunity.
Accommodations are typically around the testing time & environment, assistive technology, accessible communication (i.e. ASL interpreting, captioned media, transcription services), the physical classroom, on-campus housing accommodations and pregnancy accommodations.
