Hillside Connection and the University of Colorado Colorado Springs are expanding access to education for high achieving students with the new Hillside Connection Community Scholarship Fund. This scholarship provides undergraduate scholarship awards for students enrolled in the College of Business at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and prioritizes aspiring UCCS College of Business students involved with Hillside Connection.
Hillside Connection’s guiding principle is anchored in the belief that all children should be afforded the opportunity to participate in high quality programming. We believe in a five-tiered approach towards youth development, consisting of five pillars to success: sports development, enrichment activities, community engagement, competitive play, and family support services.
Furthering Hillside Connection Founder and CEO Terrell Brown’s mission of leveraging pathways to success for our youth, the scholarship supports students as they develop discipline, resiliency, teamwork, commitment, character, responsibility, and a strong work ethic. – characteristics that will propel the next generation of leaders from all walks of life.
