The Aging Center Support fund offers low-cost counseling, caregiver support, and cognitive assessments for older adults in the Pikes Peak Region, many of whom could not afford these services elsewhere. The Aging Center offers clinical training experiences for graduate students in geropsychology and related fields by providing low-cost mental health services to older adults and caregivers. Services include psychotherapy, cognitive assessments, and skills-based and support groups for clients and families.
Generosity from donors like you makes it possible to help more low-income older adults and caregivers receive vital mental health services provided by student clinicians. Contributions have the double benefit of training the next generation of geropsychologists while also providing low cost mental health services to vulnerable older adults and caregivers.
