C3 Innovation

This fund supports the community impact projects from the C3 Innovation Fellowship program. The faculty within the program need student assistants, so donations will directly support the undergraduate and graduate students working with their faculty mentors. This fund also supports project materials, event planning, and other student focused resources.

The C3 Fellowship programs, both faculty and student-focused, provide monetary support, leadership development, and project management help to move projects from idea to implementation. The fellows are focused on community-impactful research, programs, and events such as Lynnane George’s STEM outreach Cool Science program to enhance public understanding of science, engineering and space systems while strengthening ties between UCCS and the community.

Gifts to this fund directly impact students by allowing them paid opportunities to work alongside their faculty as project assistants, learning project management and community engagement skills. Funds are also used to build new computer and technology labs to support students with coding and creativity programs, bring special speakers from various industries to campus, and host student innovation spotlight events that are open to the larger community.
