Reach Your Peak Scholarship

More than 30 percent of UCCS undergraduate students come from low-income families, and 73 percent of undergraduate students at UCCS receive some form of financial aid. These realities were among the key motivators that inspired Bruce and Anne Shepard to establish the Reach Your Peak Scholarship program in 2000. The purpose of this fund is to support students who need financial support to make a college degree attainable, but who may not qualify for traditional need-based scholarships. The Reach Your Peak Scholarship not only provides a $4,000 tuition scholarship, it also provides programming that engages the scholars in numerous professional development and community engagement opportunities. Your contribution to this scholarship can continue this impact on students, especially at a time when financial support is needed by so many students.
