ACJA is more than just competition and more than just a club. I found it to be a space where I was able to get hands on experience and build connections in criminal justice as a whole that I know will last a lifetime. - Olivia Davis ’24, Criminal Justice

During the 2023-2024 Academic Year, Social Work students completed over 60,000 hours in practicum placements with community partners. The vast majority of these hours are unpaid. While partner agencies and organizations provide a vital role through supervision and mentoring of students, most are not able to pay students for the work they perform. Your donation provides stipends for travel and other expenses that help ensure that opportunities are accessible to all students regardless of their financial status and mitigate the financial hardship students experience by devoting time and resources to practicum placements without compensation.
